Briefing

JBL wanted to grow its presence in the world of sport. Not through big ads, but by building credibility organically, authentically and globally. The brief: get JBL seen in the right places by the right people, and make it feel part of the culture.

Insight & Strategy

Football isn’t just a sport. It’s music, style and community, and for JBL, a way to connect with fans everywhere. So we built a targeted strategy using our global network of athletes, clubs and agents to create a placement campaign that travelled fast, with impact and intention.

We designed custom JBL PartyBoxes, personalised with club colours and player names, and delivered them directly to some of the most influential teams and players in the world.

execution

From FC Barcelona to Feyenoord, players unboxed the speakers, used them in the locker room and shared them across Instagram and TikTok. No push, just passion.

Some of the world’s biggest names joined in, David Beckham included. Clubs and national teams organically amplified the campaign, with players posting their experiences and fans responding in real time.

Result

Over 120 million impressions from just a few dozen placements. With zero media budget, the JBL PartyBox became part of the culture, shared, celebrated and seen worldwide.

Why it worked

We didn’t tell the story. The players did. By giving them something they genuinely liked, we turned a speaker into a statement and showed that when you understand the culture, the culture carries your brand.
